Another grey/quiet day

Sunny Cornwall is not so sunny at present. Still awaiting favorable weather conditions to attempt some owl photography, just need weather and Owls to turn out.  Meanwhile more practice with the 2x converter and D4 custom settings, I might carry out a slight change to the AF response settings; currently I have it set to off. This means if the AF see's another subject it will switch instantly, it also means if you loose the main subject as quite often can happen your AF will find another one instantly. I will see if I get used to this setting on the next couple of outings, if not I will set it to 1 or 2 to slow the AF reaction down a bit.  I will explain more if I change it! Any how a quiet day on Wednesday (yes a bit slack putting the images up) coupled with low light.  Bitterns this year are not performing well for the camera's think we need a good ice over/snow freeze on the marsh to get them out for the camera's. I will be making a trip to Mull in May this year and also photographing Osprey's in July and contemplating a trip in June to The Outer Hebrides, but not sure on that one yet?

Anyhow onto some pictures!
