RFA Argus Returns to Falmouth from Ebola Mercy Mission

RFA Argus
RFA Argus returned to Falmouth today following a successful mission to assist in the suppression of the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone.  The ship was deployed for about 6 months and in addition to her crew had many military personnel embarked.  Below are the images from the return in Falmouth today (7th April)

Mach Loop Visit Jan 2015

First visit to the Mach Loop this year, well poor weather really screwed up the week photography wise. (Still can't be lucky all the time) There Mon-Fri, only managed to get images on the Monday and Friday with remainder of the week being snookered by strong winds, rain and snow. Even when I ventured out to do scenic stuff the rain would start, it was like the bad weather gods were waiting for me to step outside, lol.

On the plus side did manage to get some shots, visit a couple of new photography locations and had a good laugh with everyone up there. Red Lion pub in Dinas was as usual a welcome site with it's open log fires, hot coffee and cold beers. Looking forward to my next visit there now, likely in March/April/May

Night Photography Late December 2014

Well it's rather frustrating waiting for good conditions for night photography, but it does work out every once in a while. Only thing that wasn't perfect this time was the fact there was a little to much moonlight. Still experimenting exposure timings etc so was not to fazed by this. Here are the results from three locations.
